Pepperl+Fuchs offers you various services that you can request or subscribe to online (on our website or via our Social Media presences such as LinkedIn or YouTube). You may also purchase our products through our online shop (Webshop).

To offer you the best possible service, some of our services collect personal data. You can be certain that we take the protection of your data very seriously that and we always process your data in accordance with the applicable data protection and regulations.

It is necessary to process personal data to operate our online services. We process this data only with the consent of the provider. This personal data includes salutation, title, first name and last name, role/department, company, email address, postal address.

Payment for the order via Checkout.com

We have engaged the services of a third party provider, Checkout.com Australia Pty Ltd (Checkout.com) for the purposes of providing the necessary interface and system to authorise, clear, settle and otherwise process transactions through the Webshop (including payments made by you and refunds made by us).

Accordingly, your personal data may be collected by, or transferred by us to, Checkout.com. It is necessary for us and Checkout.com to collect and process your personal data for the purposes of processing your payment transaction and fulfilling your order via the Webshop. The personal data that may be collected and held by us or Checkout.com when you place an order through the Webshop include:

• delivery address;
• purchase amount;
• email address;

In general, your data will be processed by Pepperl+Fuchs employees who require this information to fulfill contractual and legal obligations. In isolated cases, it may be that the data needs to be made available to external service providers in the areas of IT and marketing; this is done solely for the purpose of using personal data on our behalf and on the basis of a corresponding contract and reasonable steps to ensure that any personal data made available to external service providers will be held and protected in accordance with any applicable data protection legislation and regulations.

Where necessary for the provision of online services, your personal data will be transmitted to companies that are affiliated with Pepperl+Fuchs; in particular cases these companies may be located in countries outside of the European Union (EU)/European Economic Area (EEA).
