Pepperl+Fuchs has expanded its industry-leading purge and pressurization portfolio to offer an innovative solution for purged motor applications. The 6100 motor purge and pressurization system can now be paired with the EPV-6100-MPM* 6100 Series Mini Vent for small- to medium-sized motors.
Compact Footprint and Easy Retrofit
The motor purge mini vent has a smaller footprint than the standard Pepperl+Fuchs vent, allowing for easy retrofitting of the enclosure protection vent on a motor where a competitor’s product may have been used in the past. This allows the use of the feature-rich 6100 motor purge and pressurization system and mini vent without the need to modify an existing motor housing.
Configurable Flow Rates
The mini vent can be configured to provide a flow rate between 2,000–6,000 l/min and have a breaking pressure between 10–40 mbar. Using the Pepperl+Fuchs purge pressure and flow rate chart, customers can select the vent that meets the requirements of their specific application.
