Pepperl+Fuchs was chosen to be the sole supplier of FOUNDATION fieldbus equipment and intrinsic safety barriers for the Greenfield PVC Resin Plant of Chemplast Sanmar Limited. The plant primarily produces four grades of S-PVC but is being designed to produce the full range of PVC grades as necessary to satisfy market requirements.
Pepperl+Fuchs India partnered with one of the world’s leading DCS vendors to integrate FOUNDATION fieldbus solutions with Power Hub, Power Conditioners, Advanced Diagnostic Modules (ADM), and Segment Protectors for 75 FOUNDATION fieldbus segments. The plant commissioning is under way and the benefits of physical layer diagnostics provided by the ADM are being realized during these commissioning activities.
