We are pleased to announce that Pepperl+Fuchs are exhibiting at the Industrial Automation & Control Ltd open day this year.
The IAC is one of the leading industrial control systems integrators in the UK and we would like to invite you to come and see us.
Colin Sands will be in attendance and would like to welcome you to join him for his product demonstrations and interactive discussions.
As an expert in the field of ‘Automotive’ Colin has a wealth of insightful knowledge and creative application development.
Laser positioning will be a key technology focus for Pepperl+Fuchs when we exhibit at the IAC open day in Newport on the 10th & 11th May 2016. The event is said to be South Wales' only control systems exhibition and is proving more popular with each event.
This year we will be demonstrating our 360° laser scanner which is now available as a zone detection variant to enable easier integration in applications requiring a basic "decision" to determine if something is within a given zone. The precise nature of the laser and its time-of-flight measurement technology means that even small objects can be detected in a large detection zone.
Of course we will have a wide range of other sensing technologies on display including our recently launched hygienically designed ultrasonic sensor which is proving to be very popular in food, beverage and pharmaceutical applications. The fully stainless steel sensor, including the sensing face, has been designed and certified to the highest EHDGE specifications, meaning that it is safe for use in food contact areas of production machinery, unlike any other ultrasonic sensor before.
Another highlight at the open days will be the inductive position sensors from the PMI range. These unique sensors offer robust and cost effective alternative to a number of contact based fine positioning solutions. With liner measurement ranges up to 0.5m and sub-millimetre accuracy these sensors find application in numerous machine positioning systems.
