It is necessary to process personal data to operate the newsletter subscriptions. We process this data only with the consent of the recipient. This personal data includes salutation, first name and last name, and email address. If you register for one of our newsletters, you consent that Pepperl+Fuchs SE may process the data you provide when registering and any changes made to it (e.g., name, email address, subscription). You consent that Pepperl+Fuchs may use this data to contact you, to process your query, and to send you information regarding Pepperl+Fuchs SE products and services that you may find interesting.
On opening the first automatically generated confirmation email when making use of an electronic newsletter and on opening each subsequent email, the following data may be sent to us in addition to the registration data:
We use this information to manage the respective newsletter. We evaluate the anonymized data exclusively for statistical purposes to further optimize our offers and services. In general, your data will be processed by Pepperl+Fuchs employees who require this information to fulfill contractual and legal obligations. Where necessary to send the newsletter, your personal data will be transmitted to companies that are affiliated with Pepperl+Fuchs; in particular cases these companies may be located in countries outside of the European Union (EU)/European Economic Area (EEA). Such transfers shall be carried out in compliance with the statutory regulations and the transmitted data may be used by these affiliated companies only for the stated purposes.
We will process your personal data for as long as this is required to send the newsletter and will delete your data as soon as you have revoked your consent at the latest, providing that there is no other legal basis for processing this data.
Of course, you have the possibility to revoke the consent you have given for the future at any time in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 DSGVO. To do this, please click on the corresponding unsubscribe link that is included in every e-mail. As a result, we may no longer continue the data processing based on this consent in the future.

Participation in the Pepperl+Fuchs Customer Satisfaction survey - prize draw, from now on referred to as the prize draw, is free of charge and is governed exclusively by these conditions of participation.
The duration of the prize draw is from June to mid-September, 2021, during which time users will have the opportunity to enter the prize draw online only.
To participate in the prize draw, users must complete the customer satisfaction survey and register their information on the consent form. Participation is only possible within the entry period. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered in the draw.
Only one submitted entry per participant will be entered into the competition. Therefore, it is strictly prohibited to use multiple email addresses to increase the chances of winning.
Participation in the competition is free of charge.
Eligible participants are persons who are age 18 or over. Participation is not limited to customers of the Pepperl+Fuchs GB Ltd (the Organiser) and is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services.
Should a participant be restricted in his legal capacity, the consent of his legal representative is required.
Employees and family members of the Pepperl+Fuchs Group and its subsidiaries are excluded from participation. In addition the Organiser reserves the right, at its discretion, to exclude persons from participation if there are justified reasons, for example;
(a) in the event of manipulation in connection with access to or implementation of the competition, (b) in the event of violations of these conditions of participation, (c) in the event of unfair practices or (d) in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the competition.
The following prizes will be awarded:
2 x £50 All4One voucher (2 in total).
The winners will be determined after the closing date for entries as part of a random prize draw among all participants.
The winners of the prize draw will be informed of the prize in a timely manner via a separate email.
The prize will only be handed over to the winner. An exchange, a self-pickup, or cash payment of the prize is not possible.
Any costs incurred for the shipment of the prizes will be borne by the Organiser. Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize shall be borne by the winner. The winner is responsible for any taxation on the prize. The Organiser assumes no liability for defects of the prize itself – except in cases of intent and gross negligence.
If the winner does not respond after two requests within a period of three weeks, the prize may be transferred to another participant.
The organiser expressly reserves the right to terminate the competition without prior notice and without giving reasons. This applies in particular to any reasons that would disrupt or prevent the competition from running as planned.
Participation in the competition requires the provision of personal data. The participant assures that the personal data provided by him/her, in particular first name, last name, and email address, are true and correct.

The Operator’s competition is subject exclusively to the laws of the GDPR. The legal process is excluded.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Participation is or becomes invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Participation. Instead of the invalid provision, the legally permissible provision that comes closest in economic terms to the meaning and purpose expressed in the invalid provision shall apply. The same shall apply in the event of a loophole in these Terms and Conditions of Participation.
Youalso have the option to provide us with additional consent to analyze your usage patterns for each integrated newsletter. In doing so, you are helping us to continue adapting our online offerings to suit your needs. With your consent, you allow Pepperl+Fuchs SE to process and evaluate your usage patterns when reading electronic newsletters, and to link this information to you or your email address. Evaluating your usage patterns includes, in particular, which areas of the newsletter you look at, which links you follow, what you have downloaded, and which pages you have visited.
The information obtained is used by Pepperl+Fuchs SE for the purposes of personalized market research, analysis, and marketing, with the aim of adapting our offer and services to meet your needs. It is also used to contact you by post, email, and/or telephone.
Your data will not be used for any other purpose and will only be transmitted to a third party where your consent has been obtained or where there is a legal justification for doing so.
