Dynamic Inclination Sensors / Inertial Measurement Units (IMU)

For dynamic applications, dynamic inclination sensors are an ideal solution. The IMU F99 inertial measurement unit combines inclination measurement, acceleration sensor and gyroscope in one device. The intelligent Sensor Fusion Algorithm links the measured data of acceleration and rotation rate so that the system is able to compensate for external accelerations. This makes the IMU F99 an ideal solution for inclination and acceleration detection in dynamic applications, such as monitoring the steering angle limit of wheel loaders. The type of acceleration compensation can be configured and optimally adapted to the individual motion pattern of the application by selecting a compensation range. This improves angular stability even in the case of linear acceleration movements or short-term shock effects caused by potholes, so that the IMU F99 always reliably delivers precise angular values.
