In the categories of Purge and Intrinsic Safety, Pepperl+Fuchs has steadfastly dominated opinion polls by readers of two of the industry’s leading publications. This year, Pepperl+Fuchs once again was voted best provider of intrinsic safety and industrial enclosure purge systems by Control magazine in its 2016 Readers’ Choice survey. This recent recognition marks the 13th consecutive year in the lead position for purge systems and the seventh consecutive year topping the intrinsic safety category. These honors follow 15 consecutive years of the same recognition for intrinsic safety by Control Design magazine since the publication began polling readers back in 2001.

A survey of more than 1,000 readers of Control magazine placed Pepperl+Fuchs above all other intrinsic safety providers, including Rockwell Automation, Siemens Industry, and R. Stahl. Respondents were asked to consider each company’s consistent quality, innovation, and the “hard-won trust” of its customers. “One readers’ choice award is truly an honor, but consecutive awards in two categories speaks very highly to the quality of the product and service we are providing,” said Kristen Barbour, product marketing manager. “Very few other companies in our industry have received this level of accolades directly from the end users.”
