With 3-D vision technology, the SmartRunner Explorer 3-D sensors provide high-precision 3-D point cloud images in addition to 2-D images. Depending on the application, devices with stereo vision technology or time-of-flight (ToF) technology are available. As raw data sensors, the SmartRunner Explorer 3-D sensors are suitable for a wide variety of applications that require detailed acquisition.
The VOS 2-D universal vision sensors offer a complete package of modular hardware and integrated vision tool set for numerous detection, identification, measurement, and positioning tasks—in only one device. Due to their high performance and flexibility in use, the universal vision sensors perfectly close the gap between standard photoelectronic sensors and more complex vision systems.
The laser light section technology is based on a projected laser line captured by a camera to measure the height profile of an object. The unique combination of the laser light section technology and a 2-D vision sensor makes the laser profile sensors of the SmartRunner family ideally suited for profile and area image capture. Application-specific and raw data sensors solve detection tasks as well as positioning and measurement tasks reliably—even with low object contrasts.
In addition to standard sensors, Pepperl+Fuchs also offers application-specific and customized devices for numerous application requirements in the field of industrial vision.
