The VIM3 series with 4…20mA interface is suitable for basic and less complex monitoring applications. Optionally it’s approved for SIL 1 applications and has a switching output which allows the direct indication of a critical vibration limit. The VIM3 series with IO-Link interface can be adjusted to different application. In addition it can be used for frequency or spectral analysis.

The VIM6 series is specifically designed for use in high-temperature applications. Here, the sensors measure vibration—optionally with temperature—and send the values via an integrated analog output. The vibration sensors of this series are available with both connector and cable and are approved for use in hazardous areas up to Zone 1/21.

With encapsulated electronics and a particularly rugged housing, the VIM8 series are designed for use in harsh environments and Zone 1/21 hazardous areas as well as offshore applications. With SIL 2 approval and an operating temperature range from -35 ... +125°C, the vibration sensors offer sophisticated functionalities: These include integrated vibration evaluation and parameterizable switching outputs.
