This update extends RM Shell 6 with the configuration option of a connected RFID reader (based on ELATEC TWN4 MultiTech 3). In addition, the update offers the option of using the additional "KM Switch 2" functionality (hardware setup with two remote monitors required) to operate two remote monitors with only one mouse and one keyboard. The remote monitors can be located in two isolated networks (e.g. DCS network and MES network).

This update contains the following improvements:

• The Windows Scheduler Task “Language Components Installer” is disabled as this can cause irreparable damage to the hard drive.
• The following RM Shell connection profiles have been updated: Web browser based on Chromium 116.0, DRDC 4.3.1.
• The dialog filter can now be deactivated.
• VisuNet GXP and FLX displays with updated touch controllers are fully supported.

This update fixes a bug in Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2019 systems that occurs in the installation wizard when switching to a non-US-English language pack. If the system is not connected to the internet, the attempt to download the language pack regularly fails. A faulty implementation of the corresponding update and log file automatism in Windows can lead to overuse of the storage medium. This patch prevents this behavior by disabling the scheduling task “Windows Language Components Installer”.

Would you like to export device data from your RM Shell devices for documentation and reporting purposes? With the new update 6.2, you can now export data from your RM Shell devices via the Control Center in various output formats (e.g. Excel and PDF) to store them as documentation or for further processing. This includes serial numbers, software data and other device information. In addition, the option to configure the RFID readers of RM Shell devices remotely has been added.

The newly implemented license manager of VisuNet Control Center 6.1 allows you to import and assign digital licenses quickly and easily. In addition, we added a credential wizard to efficiently change device accounts, update profile credentials as well as communication authentication, and manage auto logon settings.

This update for the VisuNet Control Center software reduces the CPU load to a minimum when the application is running continuously.

This update provides an improved factory reset. It gives users the ability to maximize storage capacity for third-party software and security updates. In addition, the factory reset can now be controlled remotely from VisuNet Control Center.

This functionality update for the VisuNet Control Center software introduces new functionalities upon factory reset. It includes a "Capture Image” wizard and an "Apply Image” wizard. The “Capture Image” wizard allows a backup image and a so-called clone image to be created. The "Apply Image" wizard in Control Center allows you to upload existing Pepperl+Fuchs image files or previously created clone and backup images.
