Funktion
De induktiva platssensorerna är lämpliga för användning i särskilt trånga installationsutrymmen, t.ex. för gränsdetektering i pekarinstrument. Utöver referensmålet kan ferromagnetiska metaller även användas som manöverdonselement. Tack vare en mängd olika godkännanden för användning i riskområden är sensorerna utrustade för global användning.
I kombination med en kopplingsförstärkare från Pepperl+Fuchs, t.ex. KFD2-SH-EX1, är användning i säkerhetsrelaterade tillämpningar upp till SIL 3 möjlig. Sensorn kan även användas i tillämpningar upp till SIL 2 med säkerhetsrelaterade NAMUR-kopplingsförstärkare.
