RFID evaluation units of the “IDENTControl” family do the information acquisition for you: they reliably control read/write operations and filter the flow of raw data before it reaches the higher-level control system. With their interfaces for all common fieldbus systems (PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, TCP/IP, MODBUS TCP/IP, EtherCAT) and serial interfaces, our RFID evaluation units are ideally equipped for this task. The Ethernet connection provides convenient remote parameterization of several evaluation units from a single network PC. An automatically generated SMS message immediately notifies you if process control variables identify a hardware fault.

Up to four different RFID read/write devices (LF, HF or UHF) can be connected to a single IDENTControl as these RFID evaluation units enable the exchange of identification data on four separate channels. All connections are pluggable, thereby ensuring uninterrupted processes, since the devices can be installed and exchanged very quickly. In confined installation spaces or small-scale RFID applications, the “IDENTControl Compact” offers a spot-on solution for connection of one or two RFID read/write devices.

Both, IDENTControl and IDENTControl Compact, feature solid metal housings while the continuous shielding of all Pepperl+Fuchs RFID components ensures optimum electromagnetic compatibility of your complete RFID system solution. Advanced features like channel multiplexing, triggering or digital output are available as well.
