Details: ST 04
Function
The sensor tester is suitable for function testing of all 2-, 3- and 4-wire PNP and NPN DC sensors as well as with push-pull outputs.
Power is supplied to the sensor via quick-action clamp terminals. Sensors with two switch outputs are tested by connecting the signal lines successively to terminal [IN]. When the sensor output switches, this is displayed by a LED and indicated as well by a buzzing tone.
By means of the TEACH pushbutton sensors with a remote teach function can be tested. As long as TEACH is pushed terminal [T] supplies a voltage of 18 V.
Due to the high output load capacity ultrasonic sensors or similar devices can also be connected.
The automatic On/Off function prevents unnecessary use of energy and makes operation simple.
