RFID Read/Write Devices

RFID read/write devices are available as near and far field components. They are controlled by control units and read out read-only codes and variable data areas from RFID tags. They can also write to the data areas.

• RFID read/write devices from Pepperl+Fuchs are easy to integrate, for instance as a slim cylinder with an external thread in a flat or compact housing.
• For near field RFID (inductive 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz), the read/write distances lie in the one- to two-figure centimeter range
• For far field RFID (868 MHz), the read/write distances reach a maximum of six meters
