Sensor Versions

Each sensor output type provides information as to whether it is a binary sensor with two defined states, analog output values, or a data-transferring sensor. 

Inductive sensors can be integrated into systems in various ways. The various versions of sensors with fixed cable, with or without plugs, or with connector plugs are available as standard in various designs.

When selecting a sensor, the outer material is an important factor, since it must be appropriate for the ambient conditions of the application. This is the only way to ensure reliable operation of machinery and plants.

Inductive sensors are available in various designs to suit different intended purposes and different installation situations. Cylindrical and cubic designs are typical.

Certain sensors have a range of special features that make them suitable for use in special applications.
