FieldConnex® Segment Coupler (SK1) connects one PROFIBUS PA segment to PROFIBUS DP. SK1 has all components built into one small housing, which is mountable on a DIN-Rail, power rails or wall mounted. Different models exist for safe areas and intrinsic safety applications. SK1 is well suited for small applications with only one segment and a limited number of field devices. SK1 is transparent to the DCS and field devices. The SK1 does not require configuration or node addressing.
