AS-Interface modules

AS-Interface modules play a crucial role in the automation landscape as they establish the connection between actuators and sensors on one side and the AS-Interface on the other. These specialized modules come in various configurations, offering a range of input and output options tailored for different applications, whether placed within control cabinets or deployed in field situations.

These modules are versatile and can be chosen based on specific needs, allowing for the transmission of up to 1000 I/O signals depending on the type. This capability enhances efficiency and functionality in various automation tasks for both industrial and commercial use.

G10 safety module

G10 Series

The world’s smallest AS-Interface module with IP68/IP69K protection needs no more than 8 cm³ for each I/O. The one-piece enclosure mounts quickly and securely with a single stainless steel screw. Just 20 mm high, the G10 fits easily in cable ducts. With an M12 connection via the cable output, no additional connections are necessary. The decentralized installation optimizes line lengths to sensors and actuators. The G10 is also ideal for applications that have just a few I/Os.

G11 analog module

G11 Series

The rugged modules feature an innovative sealing concept in a compact design, making them ideally suited for assembly machines and process automation applications.

Cleaning processes involving steam cleaners, high-pressure washdowns, and high mechanical stresses do not affect the performance of G11 modules. They come with the highest IP68/IP69k degree of protection without molded components, and its smooth surface prevents accumulation of dirt.

The round design allows the flat cable to be aligned in any position.

G12 flat module

G12 Series

Flat modules from the G12 series can be mounted quickly without using any tools. The flat module is fitted to the DIN mounting rail via a stainless steel quick action lock. The inputs and outputs are fitted with M12 quick-release connections, which allow you to attach and release the connectors with half a turn.

LEDs located directly on the connectors for the relevant channel speed up diagnostics. An output overload is indicated directly at the affected channel. The stainless steel half shell and cast enclosure ensure the most durability and a high degree of protection.

G16 module

G16 Series

G16 series modules are available in two sizes (4 ports / 8 ports) and are ideally suited for applications where space is limited such as in robotics and handling systems. M8 connectors used to connect sensors and actuators are both compact and flexible.

G20 motor control module

G20 Series Motor Control Modules

The motor control modules from the G20 family allow easy control of 24 V motor rollers. With a compact and innovative housing concept, G20 modules can be mounted directly in the mounting rail without tools and enable the installation of modular conveyor segments. The G20 modules are available for AS-Interface and as stand-alone devices with integrated logic for zero-pressure accumulation. Different product versions support motorized rollers with digital interfaces or integrated control boards from various manufacturers.

The switch cabinet modules from the KE series are available in different sizes and with different numbers of terminal connections. Color-coded and removable terminals guarantee fast and error-free replacement.

CB10 safety module

CB10 Series

The CB10 connecting module is ideally suited to the integration of customer-specific electronics, e.g., illuminated buttons, emergency stop buttons or LED lights. The printed circuit board is supplied completely from the AS-Interface. The inputs and outputs are short-circuit- and overload-proof. The indicator and operating elements and also the AS-Interface are connected via stranded cable. Output overload is signaled to the AS-Interface master via the "peripheral fault" function. Communication via AS-Interface remains active. Communication monitoring is built in. This function disconnects the outputs from the power supply when no communication is taking place on the AS-Interface line.
