Function

DATL-IDM-DB-S-XX00-N cables allow plug-and-play IDM corded handheld reader connectivity to Pepperl+Fuchs thin client / PC units even in hazardous locations.

1-D reader IDM-Z1-160-D-1D-J1-S-* and IDM-Z1-164-D-1D-J1-SU-P-N0 require a S3-Interface, 2-D reader IDM-Z1-260-D-2D-J1-S* and IDM-Z1-264-D-2D-J1-S1-N-N0 require a S4-interface module in the VisuNet device. The connector is compatible with Housing AG-XX00-* and AG1.

The cable ends consist of a M12-connector to connect the IDM barcode reader and a 4-wire with ferrules to connect the cable to the thin client / PC unit (refer to the TCU/PCU Manual for further information). The cable only supports RS232 Scanner/Basestations.
