The Ex d IIC approved enclosures of our GUB series are now also IECEx certified, and have also received an enhanced ATEX certification. Enclosures of the EJB series are also improved and have received expanded certification. The extensive certification range of these enclosure series allows you to use our sturdy control solutions in a broad range of environmental conditions.
With IECEx certification, a wide ambient temperature range of -50 °C to +60 °C, and the increased protection degree of IP66, these enclosures form the ideal basis for a multitude of control and distribution panel solutions. They are available in more than 50 design variants in aluminum.
For the most challenging environmental conditions, the GUBX series of AISI 316L stainless steel enclosures has been expanded with a new and larger sized enclosure. Additionally, ingress protection can be increased to IP67 upon request for both material ranges.
Both enclosure series for Ex d and Ex de solutions can be configured with a wide range of components, including certified control and operation elements as well as cable glands, terminals, and several window options.
If you plan to implement more complex control solutions in explosion hazardous areas, the experienced project engineers in the worlwide Pepperl+Fuchs Solution Engineering Centers will assist you with their in-depth expertise.
In conjunction with stainless steel termination and control stations of the Ex e certified FXLS series, both GUB and EJB series can be employed in sophisticated Ex de flanged solutions, allowing you to reap the benefits of both types of explosion protection.
