Approved for use in explosion hazardous Zones 1 and 2 (II 2 G) as well as Zone 22 (II 3 D) for dusts, TERMEX intrinsically safe operator panels facilitate flexible and cost-effective operator control and monitoring of machines and processes.
TERMEX terminals are typically connected to a PLC. Fieldbus Profibus DP and Modbus communication protocols can be used for data transmission. RS 232, RS 485 or TTY interfaces can also be used. TERMEX terminals communicate with the typical PLCs of all major manufacturers. Classic panel operation is also possible with a connection to a host computer using an ASCII protocol.
Choose from a wide range of operator panels according to the specific nature of your task:
The text terminals TERMEX 220 and TERMEX 320 with ATEX approval respectively TERMEX 221 and TERMEX 321 with FM approval feature a monochrome 4x20-character display and are used to navigate, visualize measured values and show messages in plants of minor complexity. They are connected to the PLC via a power supply unit in the safe area. Data can be exchanged with the PLC by means of various communication or fieldbus protocols. By using a classic ASCII protocol TERMEX can be used as a terminal to a PC.
The monochrome graphic terminals TERMEX 230 and TERMEX 330 with ATEX approval and TERMEX 231 and TERMEX 331 with FM approval are designed for systems with challenging display and control requirements. These graphic terminals allow data to be easily visualized by using different font sizes and embedded graphics.
