To enable condition monitoring and predictive maintenance for solenoid valves, a valve connector with IO-Link interface is available. This valve connector records extensive diagnostic data such as supply voltage, output current, temperature or the switching time of the valve. All process data is passed on to the controller or a cloud-based system via an IO-Link master. This allows plant operators to keep an eye on the status of their solenoid valves at all times and detect wear or malfunctions at an early stage.
